How do I sign up for the Rushbox API?
Sign up at rushboxapp.com/merchant, then grab your API key from your dashboard at rushboxapp.com/merchant/dashboard. Full docs at docs.rushboxapp.com.
What types of delivery services can I integrate?
On-demand (immediate), Same-day, next-day, and scheduled deliveries across our courier network covering 4 countries and counting. Whether it's e-commerce, food, or documents, we route to the right courier automatically.
How do I monitor delivery statuses through the API?
Use the /deliveryhistory endpoint to query delivery statuses programmatically, or track them visually from your dashboard at rushboxapp.com/merchant/dashboard/deliveries.
What happens if a delivery fails?
You'll receive an immediate webhook notification with a failure reason. From there you can trigger a retry, or initiate a refund via your dashboard rushboxapp.com/merchant/dashboard.
Is there a sandbox/test environment?
Yes :: docs.rushboxapp.com covers our endpoint types, including a staging environment you can test against before going live.
What are the rate limits?
There are no hard rate limits. We do monitor API usage to prevent abuse, so you can build and scale without hitting arbitrary ceilings.
Which countries and cities are currently supported?
We currently cover major cities across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya, with more markets on the way.
How is pricing calculated?
Rushbox pricing is dynamic and calculated per delivery based on factors like distance and courier. You can fund your wallet and track all payments from your dashboard at rushboxapp.com/merchant/dashboard.
Can I get a quote before dispatching a delivery?
Yes ::z hit the /fetch_estimates endpoint to get pricing before committing to a delivery. Available on both staging and live environments.
How do I handle cash-on-delivery orders?
Cash-on-Delivery isn't supported just yet, but it's on our roadmap. We'll be rolling it out soon.
What authentication method does the API use?
All API requests are authenticated using a Bearer token. Simply pass your API key as the token in the Authorization header you can find your key in your dashboard.
